Code of Ethics
With the study and preservation of our precious archaeological sites and artifacts in mind, OAS members will:
–Abide by the word and tenor of all federal, state, and local laws governing the collection, acquisition, or sale of artifacts and preservation of our cultural resources.
–Report to authorities any threats or acts of destruction to possible prehistoric and historic archaeological sites, as well as unauthorized disposal, or export or import, of prehistoric and historic artifacts.
